In the Global Intention Heals Project a volunteer was wired to an electroencephalogram (EEG).It involved the recording of electrical activity along the scalp produced by firing of neurons within the brain. Neurons are responsible for carrying out all of the brains functions. In the presence of trained clinicians and specialists, the EEG output was recorded before, during and after specific healing intentions are sent by thousands of people to the volunteer.

While the volunteer was hooked up to the EEG monitor there were thousands of people from around the world who were using visualization techniques to focus healing intentions on the volunteer’s brain. The DreamHealer visualization were accessable on this website. This visualization was designed to focus intention and awareness in the brain of the volunteer at a distance, with the intention of creating activity in the brain which was measured on the EEG monitor.

The volunteer was unaware of the exact time when the healing intentions was sent to her by thousands of participants around the globe. The senders of Intention were emailed the volunteers picture and information to focus on. Having the picture ahead of time prevented the computer system from crashing as thousands connected at the same time.

The first Global Intention Heals Project was scheduled for November 8th at 1:15pm PDT (Vancouver)
